My 2015 word of the year

This post is for the prompt 2015 Word of the year

It took me few minutes before I could come up with my 2015 word of the year. I actually have a couple of words for this year.

There is one thing which all of us yearn for and that is "happiness". I am no different. I am looking forward to having a happy new year, literally! My daughter, born in 2014 is surely going to bring lots of happiness in our life.

Life, as such is hectic with having to manage both job and my baby. I am working from home for time being and I am not sure till when I will have this luxury. In case I have to give up my job, I am getting myself ready for the same. What I want to do now is "relax". I don't mean to go on a long vacation for relaxing. I want to relax my mind more than my body and I want to do it at home along with my household chores, office work and managing baby.

"Happiness" and "Relax" are my words for this year. What are yours?

  3. I have been once, not too long ago, in the same boat as you are now. I consider it the most stressful times of my life managing a full time job alongwith the baby and also living in a joint family dealing with the expectations of the household. The one important thing that is needed most and which surely evades is a peaceful and relaxed mind. I wish you all the best.

  4. My word of the year would be 'Positive'. I would work towards seeing the positivity in everything because negativity, for some reason, comes naturally to us and positivity is something we have to strive for.

  5. I have been in that stage many years back, now my children are grown up; but the tension about how I made my next hour possible, my next lesson possible (I was a teacher) without having any guilt that I was doing the right thing still stays with me. Now you have a platform to share your state of mind; but then. I was in Africa, how kind I remember my colleagues were to do any kind of adjustments at work to accommodate me, I was humbled by them. You be positive, sharing is great. My blog is http://weddingsandmarriages.blogspot.com/

    1. Thanks Prasanna! The main reason for this blog is to share my personal experiences. My daughter is my strength and I am sure I will get through everything.
